Michèle Catoire is an accomplished Mortgage Originator, Businesswoman, Mentor, Coach and Community Activist. Michèle has been in mortgage lending for over 2 decades, helping many families reach homeownership and improve their real estate portfolios. Born into a Navy family, she has lived in multiple states from East to West and settled in Washington state over 25 years ago. Michèle is a member of the local Chamber of Commerce, Divorce Professional Network, several Mortgage Associations and is a Certified Divorce Lending Professional, CDLP™.
Being a child of divorcing parents, she has seen firsthand the challenges that a family goes through during a divorce. Her mission is to help divorcing homeowners and their team make more informed decisions regarding their home equity solutions and mortgage financing opportunities during and after the divorce. Michèle and her team are dedicated to supporting their clients through education with compassion and experience. She is an advocate for providing a higher level of service to those going through a divorce when real estate and mortgage financing are present. Michèle believes that through education and mortgage planning support, she can truly bring value to the divorcing homeowner, and their professional divorce team.
Divorce Mortgage Planning is a holistic approach to the process of evaluating mortgage options in the context of the overall financial objectives as they relate to divorcing situations. Working directly with the divorce team, a CDLP™ understands the intersection of divorce, tax, real estate, and mortgage financing. The role of the Divorce Lending Professional is to help integrate the mortgage selected into the overall long and short-term financial and investment goals, to help minimize taxes, to minimize interest expense, and maximize cash flow.
As a natural networker and communicator, you will experience Michèle’s passion for helping people both in home ownership and the divorce process as well as throughout her community. The 2011 WAMP Loan Officer of the Year, 2013 NAPW VIP Woman of the Year Award, 2014 WAMP President’s Award and most recent, the 2020 President’s Club awards are a few notable crowns of achievement. With a passion for volunteering and helping others, she is often found at charity events and fundraisers, giving back to those in the community and around the globe.
